Hello Family!

I am finally back from my ministry trip to Kansas City! And for those of you who weren’t aware I left the country 😆 😜 , I participated in a gathering called The Send where believers across the globe gathered to

cry out for the Great Commission to be completed. I can’t wait to tell you all about that experience. I have finally found the time to sit down and transcribe all that happened in my time in Kansas City. It is also the reason why this May newsletter is a bit late (pretend you got this in May and not June 😇 ).

But without further ado, let’s get right into it!

Hello Family!

It’s that time again where I update you with all the happenings and goings-on of life and ministry. But before we get into talking about me, how unnu do!? I really love to hear from you guys when I send these updates out! It’s so refreshing. Life and it’s busyness makes it difficult to check in with you all individually as I would love to, but I do love to touch base and hear what’s been happening on your side of things. SO IF YOU ARE READING THIS, PAUSE, GO BACK TO THAT EMAIL AND FILL OUT THAT MESSAGE BOX AND GIVE ME AN UPDATE / PRAYER REQUEST. LET ME KNOW HOW I CAN PRAY FOR YOU ❤ .

You are very loved and you are not alone! If life has taught me anything these past two years, it’s that we need each other! So feel free to reach out. 🤗

Hello Family!

Wow! Can you believe it is a new year. I can’t believe it is 2022 already. And as my first newsletter for the year let me take the time to wish you and your family a belated MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS 2022!

The holiday season is my most favourite time of year! Filled with so much hope and promise, love and joy, food and family. But most importantly, we get to celebrate the greatest gift of all: the advent of our Saviour and King, Jesus. My prayer for you is that you are seen, known and loved deeply, as the coming of our Lord so reveals and as the promise of new beginnings and opportunities heralds us into a new year.

Hello Family!

First let me wish you all a Happy Emancipendence! I pray this holiday is restful and peaceful and a timely reminder of our own spiritual emancipation from the clutches of sin. I also apologize for this WAY overdue newsletter! Since I last messaged you, the pace at Jamaica House of Prayer accelerated as we became thrown into our very busy calendar for the rest of the year; and it doesn't seem to be slowing down! But no complaints, the good news is that it gives me much to update you about what’s been happening with me and our expanding ministry! I feel we are approaching a very exciting time of renewal and revival in our nation, specifically in this generation.

Hoping Again: My Battle With Depression

Before I get into the updates about JaHOP, I want to give you my friends a brief update on what’s been happening with me.

Hello Family!

Happy new year! I know it’s already March but this is the first newsletter for 2021! So I thought it fitting still to wish you all a prosperous and hopeful new year. Hopeful because my prayer has been even in the midst of this seemingly unending global pandemic that the God of hope would a very present help filling you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Hope unto hope has been God’s word to me this year and prayer for my own heart. So I pray that same blessing upon each and every one of you. That you be filled with hope unto more hope even in the midst of great shaking.

What ’s new with JaHOP ?

As I mentioned in my previous newsletter, at the close of 2020, we begun discussions regarding our way forward as a ministry into 2021 and beyond. I was privileged to be a part of those discussions as Head of the Media Department...

Merry Christmas Family!

Can you believe that 2020 is coming to a close! What a year this has been! I know for me a year of pruning. Deep loss but also great gain. One of leaving old things behind and stepping into new seasons and opportunities. And as we leave 2020 behind I am happy for the opportunity to dial back and remember the simple things of rest, family and gratitude. And so it would be remiss of me not to send out this newsletter reaching out to you my friends and family and saying THANK YOU!

Thank you to each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for your support of me over this past year. I’m sure even in the midst of your own growing pains and changing seasons. It hasn’t been easy. But your faithfulness to me and my ministry at Jamaica House of Prayer has not gone unseen. Every phone call, every message, every gift and every prayer has brought joy and comfort in the midst of the storm. I continue to remember each of you before the Lord that He would pour out to you as much as you have poured out to me and then some!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I AM SO SO SO GRATEFUL FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL COMMUNITY.

Hello Family!

How are we all doing? I pray we are all healthy in body and in mind and taking all the necessary precautions now that corona has been declared as being community spread.

Such intense times that we are currently living in. And I know it can be somewhat anxiety inducing so I would just like to pray supernatural protection over you and your families.

“Abba, Thank you for these dear friends of mine that you have blessed me with in this time. Father, I pray for supernatural peace over each and every one of them, the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds. I pray also for Your supernatural protection over them and their families in these trying and uncertain times. I also ask for Your provision in all areas of need, whether it be financially, emotionally, or in health. May they lack no thing even as we face an increasingly uncertain tomorrow. May they not be overcome by fear but let faith in your loving hand guiding and covering them abound still more and more.

In Jesus’s name. Amen.”

Hello Family!

How are we all doing! I hope we are all doing well and keeping safe, even as things slowly  begin to re-open and return to some form of normalcy. A few responded to my desperate plea for an update and I loved hearing from you! So keep em’ coming! But even as the month closes out,  I do have a few updates for you! (Can you really believe it’s already almost August!). So let’s just jump right into it!

 My Media Department!

As some of you may know, I currently serve Jamaica House of Prayer not only as an intercessory missionary but also as the Media Director, giving leadership to the media department, which for the past two years has only been just me. ..

First of all! Let me begin this loooonnngggg overdue update with an apology! So much time has passed since my last newsletter concerning what has been happening with life and ministry, and for that I am deeply sorry! Forgive me!

I’m sure 2o2o has been quite a plot twist for all of you as it has been for me. Much of our plans and “business-as-usual” since the onset of a global pandemic has been thrown off its balance! But as the world returns to some form of normalcy, I must and am excited to tell you all that has been happening on my side of the fence!

But before before I even get there, I have to ask how have you been doing? I would love to hear from you! So Please don’t hesitate reply to this update with an update of your own. I know some of you have had to make quite a bit of life adjustments due to Covid-19 , and I would love to come alongside you with a listening ear and some prayer.

20 Jamaicans made it to One Thing!

Hello Family!

First of all let me say a HAPPY NEW YEAR! I truly pray 2019 has been going well for you and your family and that many blessings are on the horizon!

ONE THING: RESET

Coming out of 2018, we at JaHOP had all made a significant effort to be in Kansas City at the International House of Prayer for the last One Thing Conference. We felt the Lord leading us to join with our fellow brethren across the varied nations of the earth from the prayer movement to truly reset our focus on the “one thing” which is loving Jesus first above all else.

It was such a significant moment for us: firstly seeing 20 Jamaicans being able to go and secondly to be restored from a season of busyness to sit at his feet and return to our identity as friends rather than service hands. It really was a special moment for me as I was able to see all my friends again that I did school with but didn’t get to graduate with because my program was only 2 years while theirs was four. I had the opportunity to close and release that chapter of my life. It was such a sweet goodbye , one I didn’t know I needed. But The Lord is such a sweet Father who gives us what we need, even when we haven’t asked.
